A couple of years ago I tried to find a USB/SCSI converter for exactly the same
reason, but with no
success. For some reason, the suppliers of the only ones I could find that did
not look flaky said
that the converter would not work with a scanner - could not work out why that
would be though, so I
gave up. So now I have an excellent 8k dpi scanner sitting doing nothing in
the equipment
graveyard.

Hi Listers

I have an old but possibly still useful Nikon LS-1000 film scanner with a SCSI
connection.

Is there anything readily available on the market that would allow me to
connect the scanner to
either USB or FireWire on a recent Mac computer?

Thanks
