Looked into a somewhat similar requirement awhile back. After having
variable results with USB adapters on other projects, I looked for SCSI
adapter cards which seemed promising. In the end, I shipped the whole
job to a contractor, so I didn't purchase an adapter. However, they
looked promising if you happen to have a spare slot in your computer.
