I have some similar set of shutter firing problems on both my K-5 & the K-5 IIs:- The shutter will fire twice with just one press of the shutter button. I check my settings and it is on single frame only.
This happens randomly & for most of the time the camera behaves properly. Another set of problems are: I am on TAv Mode and the wheels will not change the Aperture or the Shutter. There is no Grip on the camera. Battery Low warning will come on when I am damn sure it is full. I shut the camera & then turn it on. It now shows full charge. No amount of Googling for solving these problems have helped. So I live with it & will remove the battery + put it back on for a temporary solution. Perhaps some good folks here have a solution??
