I don't think so. If I needed to do that, I'd use IrfanView.
It's been 10 years since I ripped off my PowerPoint Ranger tab. I only
ever used it because I got tired of my Officers trying to give briefings
with PowerPoint open & screwing it up so that they crashed out to PP
edit mode instead of going to the next slide.
If the General wanted to ask a question during a briefing, they could
pause & resume stand-alone slide shows without crashing the program.
IIRC, you could even set it up to either wait for a mouse click before
advancing OR you could give each slide (including flying bullet points)
it's own individual timing - not always the best idea, but it does force
you to stay on your toes when you're given a time limit for your briefing.
