Hear, hear. I'll leave that to my BIG little brother. From time to time he's
advertised me as his "before photo".

Haven't bench pressed anything in at least 45 years. I hate gyms.

Wow Paul, I did almost exactly the same thing. Bench pressing > 212
or so and then it tore. Ugh, painful therapy didnt seem to help. I
tried to work the complementary muscle groups instead and that seems
to be working. Hard to sleep though, no position is comfortable.

I tore my rotator cuff at about 60 while bench pressing 225 pounds. It
healed after about three years but Then I hurt it again playing tennis.
It's pretty good now but I'm cautious. Ten years ago at age 58, I could
do 75 pushups touching my nose to the floor. Now I can barely do 10 on a
30% incline. But life goes on. ( I can still hold a camera !)

Sorry about posting, busy here with the 50th MIT Reunion book.
Watched a woman walking her arm up the wall at the therapist Thursday.
Your fate soon...

Bob, it's good to hear from you! I haven't seen you posting much
lately.
I saw the orthopedist last week, and he could find no lasting damage.
Apparently youngsters have problems with recurrent dislocations (my
son is a case in point), and we who are 60+ are likely to tear their
rotator cuffs, but I seem to have escaped that. Things are stiff but
gradually loosening up, Ibuprofen is my friend. I'm seeing a physical
terrorist -- I mean therapist -- next week.
Took the camera along to work yesterday and shot a bit, but don't know
whether any will be post-able.
I hope that all is well with you and yours.

Well, for me...
No images selected for The Book yet, and I'm pretty disappointed with
2016's output.
Have a PUG pic but not posted yet.
Dislocated my right shoulder after falling on a slick walkway, so no
shooting for a couple of weeks.
Sigh...

I'm feeling pretty good right now.
Got my submissions for the PDML Annual in reasonably early, even
though
3 acceptable quality images represents WAY too large of a percentage
of
my work last year. Found something good for the February PUG, and
better
still, when I went to shoot it, everything actually seemed to work
out
for once. And this time, I'm not struggling against the deadline.
I've already managed to get out to do some photography four times in
January and it seems like every one of my outings has produced at
least
one image that's not complete crap.
