Larry's version of Lightroom is new enough to understand the 28-105 lens code, and the version he exports to Flickr has the human-readable name somewhere in the metadata courtesy of Lightroom doing the lookup. > I also uploaded a JPG to flickr - it showed no lens data as well, not even > the lens id code. Flickr's not keeping their Pentax lens ID database up-to-date enough to understand the code in straight-out-of-camera files. They're probably barely keeping the lights on there. > Looks like its time for a warranty repair. At least I have the Tamron 28-75 > as a fall back. Nah, you just need newer software. The "8 61" code I found in your EXIF (in my previous email) is the correct code for that lens, BTW: http://www.sno.phy.queensu.ca/~phil/exiftool/TagNames/Pentax.html#LensRec If you don't believe me, throw a raw file somewhere I can download it, and I'll pull it into an up-to-date Lightroom CC. It can be a shot of a blank wall. -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
