One of my many quirks is to set my "name field" on my camera to be my
initials, and then a digit that represents how many times the 10,000 counter
has turned over. On this last trip both cameras that I brought "rolled
over". In the process of reconciling the file names I noticed that the last
image file was 20170827-LRC61567 while the metadata said the shutter count
was 61507. My first thought was that with LV images the shutter would only
open once per set of frames rather than once per frame. But that was wrong.
When the counter rolls over, it goes from 9999 to 0001, skipping 0000. The
sixty "lost" frames were 10000, 20000, 30000 ...
