Dan, I'm enjoying your insect shots. That lens seems to be ideal for the job. Not sure if they are close ups or macros? Perhaps the bee is macro? Pity it has a black abdomen - a yellow/black striped one would really have stood out. I enquired about butterfly bushes a while back but the local nurseries don't know what I am talking about. I have tried some insect shots with the lenses I have (only slow zooms) but can't get anywhere near your standards.
