Only problem is, if you're getting minilab prints, and they're coming back purple from the C-41 b&w, they're DEFINITELY going to come back some godawful colour shift from real b&w. Unless you also want to put in a darkroom for printing, or go for the higher priced prints right off the bat (which would also eliminate the colour shifts from the C-41 b&w). Not to disparage the suggestion -- everyone can benefit from processing their own film, and it's easy and cheap and fun, and the amount of control is just phenomenal -- it's just that it doesn't really address the problem being discussed. :) -Aaron - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List.
