OK, good to know. I made several stereoscopic images using the K1, M 50mm F/1.7 and the stereo adapter a few weeks ago, and that works reasonably well. I simply viewed them on a monitor, scaled so the two images are about 7 centimeter apart. With some eye training you can then look at them without any additional viewer hardware, looking at the left image with the left eye and right image with the right one. You just need to relax your eye muscles as if they are looking to an infinity target :) It is the same procedure as used with the '3D' image books that got popular quite a few years ago . >As the distance of the picture is different from the exact position of a >slide, >I still have to see if the two pictures merge into the correct stereo view. They do, but you need to scale the images properly, certainly if you use the viewer this way to make separating the images a little easier. However, like in the film-days, when I used to make sterioscopic slides with this adapter, the vertical format is a handicap for most subjects. Back then I also had a real stero camara, with two 50mm lenses each creating a full-frame 35mm image on slide film. They could be mounted in a special slide-holder, and viewed with a viewer for that. For landscap this was a lot more usable than the vertical Pentac ones ... But it is nice to be able to use the stuff again, of a full-frame!
