Actually, Samsung does that with a "dual-camera" setup, - where they realize a "portrait" mode. It's actually quite good, - I saw one just two days ago, when a hair master took a few photos of the customer. It minimizes or even eliminates that wide-lens-selfie effect, and also blurs the background, - as you see with a portrait or telephoto lens.
