Well, Paul, thanks for your kind words. It wasn't bitter and it was very sweet. I perfectly realized that in a certain sense I indeed traveled in time machine and this place was both mine by birth and not mine by other reasons. But no bitter feeleings.
The slide interval is indeed a problem. You spotted it just right. First, I chose the images I wanted to show to people. Then, afterwards, separately, the idea of the slideshow exactly to this tune came up in my head. So, I had to fit one to the other. The slide interval is 2.6 seconds which as you said, is too short.
