I don't see any reason to do it, although Tom's point about loading wet
reels makes sense. The real key is to be consistent in what you do.

Again, this is a non-issue.  Perhaps in the days when tanks didn't load
fill as quickly it could have been a concern, but these days tanks fill
easily and empty at about the same rate (at least the Jobo tanks that I
use do).  Again, consistency is more important.

Never much cared for Microdol.  D-76 seems the way to go, at least until
you decide what other characteristics you may prefer.  D-76 is something
of a standard by which other developers are compared.  The TX and D-76
combination is hard to beat, especially while learning or
refamiliarizing yourself with the process.

Delta 3200 is a pretty nice film.  For that Ilford's DD-X is a fine,
albeit somewhat spendy, choice.  Microphen may be a good option with
D3200 as well.
