Dave, if you're going to present the slideshow via a large TV or digital
projector, jAlbum will be fine if you can link a laptop to the device via
HDMI: alternatively, a jAlbum slideshow on a USB drive will work if the
device can play it. I did this for my mother's 100th birthday celebrations
in March: the output was to a very large screen, in a room roughly 20x60
metres, and the image quality, which I'd set at 600dpi/ppi, was fine.

Subject: OT? slide shows

I may have an opportunity next spring to show some of my photos at the local
seniors facility. They have 1 person a month come in from the club and show
their travel photos.

Just wondering whats the best way to do this. I know Photo can do one but i
don't have my photos in Photo and don't like th program. Use iMovie maybe??
or LR's slideshow maker.?? My jAlbum makes my web pages and you can run a
slide show but i think it would need the new which we do not have at the
club yet

I use a mac and it will be shown on a PC. I used to use Vewprint to show
slides but not sure about it anymore.
