The impression I get is that the water level on the left is
magnificently higher than on the right, a trick of perspective. It gives
the image an Escheresque feel. I don't know if that's what you
intended, but in my opinion you achieved it. I like it.

In a related note, I'm really annoyed at park rangers that kick people
out at the start of sunset rather than at the end.
