This is smarter, Fred.  TV Contact cleaner usually works better and is
cleaner (from my experience with electronic components ..um, quite some
time ago :-)  ) than WD40.  I'd forgotten about using that, but I would
recommend a trip to Radio Shack for anyone wanting to try this.
