Thanks John. It does have a manual, which was nice.

I've since had a play and in fact the camera will work without a battery, but 
only on one set shutter speed - 1/500th.

Nice piece of kit, all seems to work.

In my 20s I had an RB67 which was great fun. Wish I still had it now!
