Had an ETR in the 80s. Not great, not bad. If you can get the later PE series lenses, as I recall Tamron owned the just shortly before the collapse but improved the lens coatings for better contrst. The E were a bit flat, like the older Mamiya TLR lenses. IIRC, the ETR series uses the same battery as the Pentax 6x7.
