No kidding? They sell the 645 N II in the 35mm format? Or maybe they introduced a 35mm interchangeable film back for it?:)) Speaking seriously, the 645 N II is a great camera but it's a medium format after all, so it's not the same thing... It cannot compete with either F5 or EOS-1v because they are sold on different markets. When I was speaking of a big new body, I meant a camera, that would operate in 1/3 EV increments, would be able to shoot over 4 frames/sec, synchronize up to 1/250 w/o HSS, have a fastest shutter speed of at least 1/8000 (and 1/12000 would be even better), have HSS, P-TTL, MRC, MLU, exposure data printing, 6-segment AF, studio lamp socket, sealed housing made of metal, battery grip (with vertical controls) and all other obvious features like DOFP, adjustable Autobracketing, multisegment/c-w/spot metering, memory lock, exposure compensation etc... The ability to configure the camera to the individual needs with the possibility to save the USER configuration as a different working mode and switch between the NORMAL and USER mode would be great too. If it does sound like a combin! ation of the Z-1p and MZ-S then so be it:))) Besides, the bigger the camera, the more people respect it:DDD Greetz Artur - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List.
