On dedicated fotoshoots yes, that's usually how it goes with me too.

However, for travel photography, there are often situations where there is 
little time,
or you are shooting from a driving car or other 'difficult' situations, that 
makes the 
technical 'keeper rate' go down a bit, and not many 'almost duplicates' are 
available :)
