I feel for you Larry, I wasn't going to talk about this but my mother died a
week ago.
My condolences.
I'd been taking care of her for the last few years, but her mind was been
fading. It became apparent 5 months ago that it was beyond my capabilities, to
continue to be her caretaker, so we moved her to a nursing home.
That is always a rough step.
For a while it seemed to be actually doing some good, she seemed to be
remembering more, but then she started declining again. Last Christmas she had
a stroke, which accelerated her decline.
I was surprised at hearing how well she had been doing the past 10 months since
she was moved to the home near my sister’s place.
I wasn't able to be there at the end, as I had a nasty head cold, and couldn't
expose other patents who might have had compromised immune systems.
That is a really tough place to be. I’m sorry to hear that.
