I think some or most are overdone in post editing. Most if not all are hdr's

Some of them are good. Some of them are awesome.
HDR is Ok if you can do it so it's not obviously HDR, but even the ones that
are obviously HDR are a style ... even if they're not quite to my taste.

When I got the chance to go to China, one of the things we did was a cruise
down the Li River and I saw many boats like this one. And my one regret from
that trip was the photo of the man with a pole across his shoulder with two
Cormorants sitting on it.
I regret it, because it's the photo I absolutely missed that I should have
gotten.
