Paul raises a decent point. In fact this is one of the reasons I'm hoping the Pentax DSLR *will* be like the Canon D60 - the user buttons are accessible and apparently fairly straightforward. These small P and S digicams amaze me because their controls are so small and fiddly. I want something that I can use, not something I have to spend ages fiddling with. Mind you, having said that, when I was a lad, I had to learn how to load a reel, how to develop film - that wasn't exactly straightforward! Maybe there are rights of passage in the digital agd of photography also <g>.
