There are definite advantages of living where I do. There are also some 
disadvantages of living someplace semi-rural.

Bark Macrow sounds like a bird that was named by someone who didn’t like them.

Thanks a bunch. It’s mostly the luck of living someplace like this, combined 
with the effort of going out and actually seeing it.

I agree with you that the DA35 macro is an excellent walk in the woods lens on 
APS.  It’s also pretty good on FF, you just have to crop a little bit of 
vignetting at certain distances.
