Mine had remained unused for about 4 years, maybe 5. At least a year or 2 of it was in a box. I was rather too busy with other matters and wasn't surprised when I found it dead.
The inks were originals like the ones I still have sitting somewhere unopened. I remember thinking about selling them as such but I doubt they will perform as good as films past their BB date.
