If you have access to the ink port on the head and can obtain a disposable hypodermic, you could try fitting it directly to the port (I found a 5ml one worked best; might be different for other models) and filling the barrel with a mix of IPA and distilled or deionised water. Put the plunger back in to reduce evaporation and leave it. If you manage to get some seepage, _gentle_ pressure might help. Time is your friend.
