there .. we went to Due. I agree totally about your Waukegan comment..
I ate thin crust on the far north side in high school... can't remember
the place I want to say Gino's..
DIdn't even know what Pizza was when we lived on the south side.. moved
away when I was 8

There is a woodland trail there along the lake. O'Hare airport is south west
from Waukegan and North west of Chicago proper..
Sorry you aren't really staying in the city... but you can get stroll along the
shore of Lake Mich in that state park on along the woodland trail.. such
a different look than what you are used to.

I'm not actually going to be in Chicago much on this trip either: I'll spend
most of my time a bit up-state in Waukegan. It's mostly a pass-through Chicago
on the way from and to the airport.

Uno's has a sister location nearby which is a bit larger and absolutely the
same pie - and my fave of the two locations.. BUT
looks like they are just doing take out due to THE virus.. it is at the corner
of Wabash and Ontario. .. Possibly Uno is only takeout/delivery.
What hotel are you staying in? We should talk when you are on your way or
there..
Is it possible you have NEVER been to Chicago?

I don't know exactly how much of my time there will be taken up by business,
most of the time I'll be up in Waukegan area. But if there's time, and dinner
calls, a bit of the original Chicago deep dish pizza sounds real good! I might
have a full day to spare on my hands..
