"Everything except the kitchen sink" is a phrase that implies something has every thing for every one.  Except the K-1 isn't that.  It's frame rate is too slow for the dedicated sports and modern wildlife photographers. It's video capabilities can best be described as existing.  I would say it's a landscape field camera, and, with a tilt/shift lens architectural, or, studio/portrait/product camera, for someone, with methodical technique, who can't really justify the expense of medium format.
