Many of the older Canon/Nikon shooters in the nature photography group
I'm involved with have switched to Four Thirds (micro four thirds?)
mirrorless systems.
A 150-400 lens in that system apparently has an 35mm equivalent of
300-800mm ... and costs slightly less than Canon/Nikon big glass.
Others (younger, more fit?) have been switching to Canon's full-frame
(?) mirrorless system.
I don't think Canon has yet come out with big glass for the EOS R or RF,
but one OLD guy I know (our age) is using the EF 800mm f/5.6 on an R
body using an adapter.
