About 8 years ago raccoons destroyed the only boat I've ever owned (it
was a kayak)...I wish I could have bashed those varmints with a big
Pentax. That 250-600 would have worked fine.

Tom,
I don't have a Bass to toast so instead I raise a Venetian glass cup of
1997 Calliope Rutherglen Shiraz to the PDML.
Sitting here watching the rain come down - we need it. Just hoping it is
clear enough to get in a couple of games of beach volleyball in tomorrow.
Photographically, I will take out the LX and lenses, but I will probably be
toting a D1H with, among other things, an AF Nikkor ED 80-200 2.8 D.
