Yes, many times!  When I lived on the Island of St. Helena, I always 
had a camera with me, even when I was supervising vessel discharges. 
 One day (maybe the next Open Gallery) I'll put up in the PUG a shot I 
took of an Italian cruise liner at dusk, taken from the whale-boat we 
used to get to and from the ships.  Amazingly sharp considering I 
probably shot it at 1/30 sec at near full aperture, unmetered too!  If 
you expand the definition of 'boat' to include 'ship', I've got yet 
more candidates, including some very ordinary stuff shot with my first 
ever camera while sailing to the island.  To avoid giving the camera a 
dunking, I always had the strap around my neck, rather than over my 
shoulder as I tend to nowadays.
