I've got three manual Pentax bodies and the MX is my favourite by far. I love the small size (with the 40mm pancake it's actually smaller than my Voigtlander Bessa R rangefinder).
Unfortunately it's totally unusable in sunlight. The LEDs are all blacked out, so I'm left with sunny 16. Find a needle metered K body fares much better under those conditions. But the meter on my K1000 has a problem 'kicking in' at low light.
