Hi, er, no, you can't assume that. I have no intention of giving up my film cameras (not all SLRs). At the moment I have no intention of buying digital stuff either, but I like to think about the possibilities. If DV is good enough, there would be no need to buy a stills digital camera, instead you could kill 2 birds with one stone - I'm quite interesting in trying video sometime.
