The 645 loses about 3/4 of an inch on the short axis, the 67 about a
1/2 inch on the long axis, so I don't know if I'd say the 67 is the
clear winner or not. The surface area is probably about the same.

The aspect ratio of the 645 is somewhere in between the ratios of 35mm
and 67.
