I can tell you that the F90X/F90s wasn't made as well as the MZ-S. It's more like the built quality of the Z-1p. I had the F801s and my friend have the F90X. I used both and they are ok in terms of built quality, or maybe jammed packed with features. But their built quality is far behind MZ-S. Now, which is more expensive to manufacture, quality or quantity, I'll let someone else to answer.
