The fact that that phrase was in the quoted message does not mean that I was
commenting on that exact issue. I stated what my comment was about.

If you insist on me commenting upon the depreciation issue, let me point out
that I did address it in the clarification. To wit: 

"Heck, you have a hard time giving away an old computer right now, but there
are a lot of folks right here chasing hard after old SLRs."

The price of a used D30 and other interchangeable lens DSLRs are a lot
higher than used computers.
