I'm seriously considering picking up a digital p&s someday. I just got
done with mounting a few more of my backlog of 6x7 slides, and I'm having
difficulty in remembering what some of the locations are.

My plan for the digicam is to take a photo of a sign then of the scene
itself. Then all I need to do later is match up the pictures with my
films. I've tried pencil & paper but its too slow and disorganised for
my liking.

The other reason I want one is so I can stick images on the web quickly.
Something with a good macro would be ideal but I'll probably have to
compromise on that point, particularly as I'll be buying secondhand and
reasonably cheap.

Cheers,

- Dave
