OK, so the obvious question: Why not just buy a film P&S? There's
obviously some advantage to an SLR, so dropping $2K on one is more a
matter of available ($2K is not big deal for some folks) or actual need.
I do agree that it would be best to wait a while for the DSLRs to
mature, but then again I have access to an E-10 in the meantime.
