The above sentence ends in "three asterisk" in the ASCII text of my email software. What character did you intend the asterisk to be? Or, was it meant to be an asterisk? :@( I've been getting that asterisk symbol inserted in text, or replacing a character of some sort, from time to time, and it's usually associated with some MIME interference.
