Ya.
I know :)

Kominek may be decent..
The beauty though about Toronto (if you can call it "beauty" eh... ) is that
most of the big mucky muck camera makers have their national headquarters in
T.O. which is all within driving/subway distance as far as I'm concerned :)
Some people would "walk a mile" for a Camel.. I'd do the same or more for an
LX.

There was a time when Pentax's national HQ was in Vancouver (maybe it still
is? anyone confirm?).

Cheers,
Dave

William,

Is #1 fixed FOR SURE ? :)
The reason I ask is for a "just in case" sort
of issue. I have Jeff's
not-so-old (beautiful condition) LX and even
though I don't have to send it
in, I may do so for a regular cleaning early
next year.

After hearing about the horror stories from
Pentax out in East Mississauga,
I'm a bit concerned.

Please belay my fears :)

Cheers,
Dave

Today, I sent LX #3 back to Mississauga to
repair the sticky
mirror which it caught while in for repair.
Mere moments ago, LX #1 arrived back from
Mississauga, all shiny
clean and working. With luck, I will have all 3
of them back
home and working soon.
