Brad,

The current easy approach is to treat digital just like a different
format.  Use your film camera for what you will and start planning
your digital system.  Currently, the digitals really suck at wide
angle, so that would be a place that you would still use your film
camera.

When I went to Medium Format, I sold off about half of my 35mm lenses
because I would be using Medium Format for much of my work.  That has
proved to be the case and now, I am finding that I use the 35mm for
very specific things only.  If you started a digital system you could
do the same thing.  It doesn't have to directly replace your 35mm
system, just supplement for a different direction and use.  Over time,
you will begin to naturally use one system or the other for a given
situation.  That will help guide you for your future purchases.
