Brad, The current easy approach is to treat digital just like a different format. Use your film camera for what you will and start planning your digital system. Currently, the digitals really suck at wide angle, so that would be a place that you would still use your film camera.
When I went to Medium Format, I sold off about half of my 35mm lenses because I would be using Medium Format for much of my work. That has proved to be the case and now, I am finding that I use the 35mm for very specific things only. If you started a digital system you could do the same thing. It doesn't have to directly replace your 35mm system, just supplement for a different direction and use. Over time, you will begin to naturally use one system or the other for a given situation. That will help guide you for your future purchases.
