Sounds like he is still the owner, then. The brother's names were 
Helmut and Gerhart or something. I never knew which was which.

Those are the cheapest which sell the best. The point and shoots of 
the telescope business. :^)

I have not been in there for years. That used to be a camera store 
run by a crook named Sherwin. I guess he went out of business in the 
mid-80s and McKittericks went in. Last I saw Sherwin he was 
delivering pizzas. I did pick up a few good deals from him, though, 
like a Haminex slide projector that is still soldiering on, and 200 
rolls of GAF slide film for $20. :^)
