Yes, I guess it's rather uncommon.  It certainly was not distributed
widely (perhaps only in southern Africa I have heard), and I don't
think many were produced - sort of a semi-prototype, I guess.

Same here.  If the Jupiter-9 were offered in K-mount, I think it'd
"sell like hotcakes".

No, sorry - I've never had a chance to try one - if it'd been
available in K-mount I'd probably have gotten hold of one by now.

I don't have a lot of those 85mm lenses anymore.  I'm down to "just"
the A* 85/1.4, the FA* 85/1,4 (actually, it's my wife's 85), the K
85/1.8, and the Kenko 85/2.5 Soft (which I have to get up on the web
site, now that I think of it...).
