Hi, Dan. > I've never seen that before!
Yes, I guess it's rather uncommon. It certainly was not distributed widely (perhaps only in southern Africa I have heard), and I don't think many were produced - sort of a semi-prototype, I guess. > Very interestingless sharpen wide open, though less vignetting in > exchange. It certainly is an interesting lens, and a rather neat portrait lens. > And it comes K mount? Only in K-mount, as far as I know. > I've never seen a sample of the Jupiter-9 offered in K mount, just > screw. Same here. If the Jupiter-9 were offered in K-mount, I think it'd "sell like hotcakes". > Have you had a chance to compare the Jupiter-9 to your others, as > well? No, sorry - I've never had a chance to try one - if it'd been available in K-mount I'd probably have gotten hold of one by now. I don't have a lot of those 85mm lenses anymore. I'm down to "just" the A* 85/1.4, the FA* 85/1,4 (actually, it's my wife's 85), the K 85/1.8, and the Kenko 85/2.5 Soft (which I have to get up on the web site, now that I think of it...). Fred
