Brad,
I wish I had done like you, and start out with a photo course.
Being self-taught all the way (except for lots of valuable advice from the
PDML), I feel that everything takes so much time to learn. Maybe I'm being
less than average systematic about it, but I think I would have done better
with a course or two in the first place.

That said, it's definately more of a satisfaction to figure things out on my
own than to have it served. I guess it's about _seeking_ information
actively instead of being "fed" in a course or classroom situation.

-Just wish the learning could happen a bit faster sometimes... :-)
