Do you suspect it is an updated "LX" with autofocus to match the Limited Lenses (as it 
has been rumoured previously) and a digital sibling?

It would follow similarly to what Pentax did in 1980 when they introduced the LX, 
which was build on a different platform from the MX/ME Me Super etc...
