        Also, the Ilford doesn't (didn't when I used it, anyway) have
        anything like the C-41 mask as does the CN. I would suspect that
        this would complicate scanning, as it "appears" more like a
        regular B&W emulsion and I've gathered that scanners seem to
        prefer working against the mask more than clear areas like w/ 
        regular B&W.

        The CN is very smooth-toned and virtually grain-free, as well.
