So far, I've gotten disappointing results from it in low light, but I haven't played with manual focus much. I've been in a couple of situations where I had to use the LCD to compose. Overall, in daylight, it's great, with very good color. Macro mode is fun to use, too, and the flip-out LCD is handy for taking photos at funny angles.
