Buy the long one, even if you aren't sure. That little bit of extra length will prove to be more than worth the extra dollars.

Mostly for hold the flash by hand off-camera for portraits and lighting the foreground for landscapes. Does anyone have any experience with the F5P being too short for this purpose?
