Buy the long one, even if you aren't sure. That little bit of extra length
will prove to be more than worth the extra dollars.

Hi all.  I'm going to buy an off-camera flash module and cord to use my
AF500FTZ off-camera with both my PZ-1p and P645nII.  Mostly for hold the
flash by hand off-camera for portraits and lighting the foreground for
landscapes.  Does anyone have any experience with the F5P being too short
for this purpose?  I would rather not pay the price for the F5PL cord, but
I'm afraid the shorter coiled cord might not allow enough movement.  Thanks,
