Jim, I've never used the MZ-S. I have admired it a few times in the camera stores but I have never used it. I do have the PZ1 (2 bodies actgually) and agree that it is a good camera. It is completely different from what I am used to (with all the wheels and gadgets. I feel it's much closer to a Canon than a traditional Pentax. The MZ-S on the other hand looks and feels much more like a Pentax. If I had my choice I would go for the MZ-S. But that's just me. Everyone likes different things. If I wanted a Canon or Nikon I would have bought one... Vic
