I doubt it would hurt, but perhaps you should look into Windows 2000 which
is the real OS that they make, versus the consumer orientated ones.

While I think XP was geared towards "professional use," I personally
loathe everything about it. Of all the variations of Windows I've used
2000 is by far and away the nicest.
